Let’s build a longer table, not a higher wall!
Celebrating World Refugee Day

The Museum of Warsaw, the Polish Migration Forum Foundation and UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency invite you to celebrate the World Refugee Day, which will be held under the slogan “Let’s build a longer table, not a higher wall”. The organisers want to give the floor to refugees who will guide the permanent exhibition at the Warsaw Museum.

June 20th is a good time to talk, listen and get to know each other at the Common Table in the Old Town Square. Especially nowadays, it’s very important to support those who had to leave their country because of wars and persecution.

Program of the celebrations

20 June, Warsaw Museum

Museum of Warsaw, assembly point: ticket office hall, 42 Rynek Starego Miasta

Warsaw caught my eye – the permanent exhibition will be guided by people with refugee and migration experience, thus inaugurating a new project of the Museum of Warsaw and the Polish Migration Forum Foundation with the same title. The invited persons will conduct their original guided tour, presenting selected objects from their perspective and referring to their experiences and cultures.

Free tickets are available here:
