The project provides comprehensive support and protection for those affected by the war and violence and seeking refuge in Poland. As part of it, community centers are run in various Polish cities by project partners.
Poland for beginners and advanced – pass it on” is an educational project aimed at supporting organizations and local government institutions that want to connect volunteers aged 60+ and refugees through conversations in Polish. Some of the refugees will stay in Poland longer and build their lives here – they work or look for a job, benefit from education, health care and culture. It is important to create conditions so that they can feel as good and safe as possible with us.
This process is facilitated by creating relationships with Poles in local communities – also through learning Polish.
