Support for refugees at the Community Center in Warsaw.

The center, run by PFM, is located at 137 Górczewska St. In addition to the it, we also carry out mobile activities in the Mazovia province – our caseworkers, caseworkers and psychologists regularly visit the accommodation points in smaller towns.

Project objectives

Comprehensive assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine and seeking refuge in Poland by providing support at the Community Center and through mobile activities in the Mazovia province.

Activities

Information support (reception at the Community Center and Infoline), caseworker support (in dealing with specific issues, e.g. health, official, educational) in Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Chechen, Dari, Pashto, English, Polish; psychological, legal; in child care (there is a day care center at the Community Center run by the Foundation for Freedom); career counseling; events and meetings for the community.

Results

Access to professional support for those experienced by the war in Ukraine, effective adaptation to life in Poland, easier access to benefits, leveling the effects of psychological trauma, increasing the number of refugees with access to information.
