Our activities

We believe that the most effective and best way to support students with migration experiences and integration processes is through intercultural assistance. Assistants help children who do not speak Polish by translating, supporting the school adaptation process, building peer relationships, and facilitating communication between children, parents, and schools. Intercultural and anti-discrimination education is becoming increasingly important. We implement this through intercultural competence workshops for children and youth, as well as training and webinars for teachers, psychologists, and educators. In 2023, we also developed activities aimed at strengthening the mental resilience of children (resilience) and normalizing the use of psychological help among children with migration experiences.

In 2023:

231 individuals working with children with migration experiences underwent our in-depth training and workshops
Nearly 1,000 people participated in specialized webinars
749 children participated in intercultural competence workshops
Approximately 2,500 children participated in workshops to strengthen mental resilience

Dedicated publications

We also provide key publications—practical tools, brochures, and guides that support educational work with children and youth. Among them, you will find the “WISE Multicultural Education Model” available in three languages and the “Diary-Glossary.”
