Eighth Grade – What’s Next? Join Our Consultations!

Are you in the eighth grade of primary school and wondering whether to choose a general secondary school (liceum), a technical secondary school (technikum), or a vocational school? We invite students with a migration background to take part in free, individual educational and career consultations with a professional consultant.

Ukrainian/Russian: 18.03.2026, 25.03.2026 – between 5:00–8:00 PM
English/Polish: 21.03.2026, 28.03.2026 – between 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Location: Multicultural Centre, 54 Jagiellońska Street, Warsaw

The consultations will help you:

  • identify your strengths, interests, talents, and competencies,
  • overcome challenges related to changing countries, educational systems, cultural differences, or language barriers,
  • explore educational and career opportunities as well as formal requirements,
  • set realistic educational and career goals (we will create an individual action plan tailored to your abilities and aspirations).

Our Experts:

Yevheniia Protasova – Ukrainian and Russian

Psychologist and career counselor with over 7 years of experience supporting individuals in career planning, identifying and developing strengths, and consciously shaping educational and professional paths. She specializes in individual and group career consultations as well as psychosocial support.

She has experience working with youth, students, adults, and people with migration and intercultural backgrounds. In her practice, she combines career counseling methods with the development of key future competencies (soft skills). She conducts training sessions, preventive and orientation classes, and educational workshops that foster self-awareness, decision-making skills, adaptability, and strategic career planning.

Marta Szyszkowska – English

Career consultant and soft skills trainer with over 20 years of experience in HR and people development. She works with primary and secondary school students, supporting them in planning their educational and career paths, discovering their strengths, and building confidence and a sense of agency.

She conducts individual consultations and workshops on choosing a study profile/class, planning further education, preparing for first work experiences, and developing communication and teamwork skills.

In her work, she combines a labor market and employer perspective (recruitment, competency models, development paths, organizational culture) with a supportive approach based on coaching and workshop practice. She also delivers outplacement and career coaching projects as well as soft skills training in Polish and English.

She is committed to helping young people – including students with a migration background – safely and effectively translate their potential into educational and career decisions appropriate to their life and language situation.
