Project description

The project aims to provide perinatal support for pregnant women, in particular for mothers with migration experience, preventing violence against women and girls, and strengthening midwives' competence in working with women who have experienced trauma or violence.

Project goals

Providing perinatal support for pregnant women, in particular for mums with migration experience Preventing violence against women and girls Strengthening the competences of midwives, especially in working with women who have experienced trauma or violence Conducting intercultural birthing schools, obstetric consultations, health education and support groups for mothers of small children.

Activities

Training midwives and sharing experiences of working in a culturally diverse environment and with women who have experienced trauma or violence. Conducting intercultural birthing schools and obstetric consultations, health education and support groups for mothers of small children. Organizing actions to counteract violence against women and girls.

Results

Providing perinatal support for pregnant women, in particular for mums with migration experience.
