Project description

The aim of the project is to integrate and counteract discrimination against women refugees and refugees, with particular emphasis on people from Afghanistan.

Project goals

The aim of the project is to integrate and counteract discrimination against women refugees and refugees with particular emphasis on people from Afghanistan. The project has character intervention and responds to several needs that we currently identify: 1) shortage qualified staff of social workers in centers for foreigners; 2) projected by us a sharp increase in the demand for housing for refugees; 3) the need for information and talks with local leaders and community workers about preventing discrimination and integrating newly arrived neighbors. As part of the project, we employ a CASEWORKER / INTERCULTURAL ASSISTANT, whose task will be to work with families, mediate in communication with officials and / or support children and youth in the school environment. We also provide translation support hours. We will organize 8 MEETINGS FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES, leaders and people working for refugees.
