Project description

Support for students with migration experience through the employment of intercultural school assistants, intercultural and anti-discrimination education addressed to students and teachers of schools near Warsaw, sensitization to the needs of students with migration and refugee experience.

Project goals

Support for students with migration experience by employing intercultural school assistants. Intercultural and anti-discrimination education addressed to students and teachers of schools near Warsaw. Sensitizing the needs of students with experience of migration and refugee.

Activities

Employment of intercultural school assistants. Conducting intercultural and anti-discrimination education for students and teachers of schools near Warsaw. Meetings of intercultural school assistants with students with migration and refugee experience. Training for intercultural school assistants in the field of work with students with migration and refugee experience. Pupils and female students of schools near Warsaw will be made sensitive to the needs of people with migration and refugee experience, which will contribute to shaping positive attitudes and reducing discrimination. Teachers of schools near Warsaw will be trained in working with students with migration and refugee experience, which will allow them to work more effectively with these students. Schools near Warsaw will become more open and friendly to students with migration and refugee experience.

Results

Students with migration experience will receive the support of intercultural school assistants, which will contribute to better integration at school and increase the chances of educational success. Pupils and female students of schools near Warsaw will be made sensitive to the needs of people with migration and refugee experience, which will contribute to the development of positive attitudes and reduction of discrimination. Teachers of schools near Warsaw will be trained in working with students with migration and refugee experience, which will allow them to work more effectively with these students. Schools near Warsaw will become more open and friendly to students with migration and refugee experience.
