Project description

The project builds openness and tolerance towards immigrants, refugees and culturally diverse people in preschool and early school age children.

Project goals

The project "The whole world in our class" is a response to the need for social education, anti-discrimination and strengthening the attitude of openness, tolerance and respect towards representatives of other cultures living next to us, as well as to provide support to children (and their parents) who experience discrimination in the school environment. The flagship activity implemented under the project are workshops on intercultural competences, with which we host in kindergartens and primary schools. We show the children participating in the workshops in a simple and interesting way, we explain what migration is and why people become refugees.


  • Workshops on intercultural competences for Polish and foreign children studying together in Warsaw schools and kindergartens;
  • Psychological support (individual and group) for children with migration experience and experiencing various forms of discrimination and for their parents;
  • Webinars for teachers and parents of children experiencing or at risk of discrimination and violence;
  • Activities promoting openness to a multicultural society from an early age: graphic design, printing and distribution in Warsaw schools and kindergartens of educational coloring pages showing cultural diversity (and in the web version), as well as writing and publishing 2 articles promoting the education and integration of foreign children in Polish School.


  • carrying out 15 workshops on intercultural competences for children from Warsaw schools and kindergartens;
  • carrying out 73 hours of consultations - psychological support for children and their parents living in the Capital City of Warsaw, especially those at risk of discrimination based on their origin;
  • conducting 1 webinar for parents on preventing peer violence;
  • conducting 1 webinar for teachers on preventing peer violence at school;
  • graphic design of 1 set of intercultural coloring pages for children in a version for web publishing and their printout in the number of 300 copies;
  • writing and publishing in the web version 2 of articles promoting activities for the education and integration of foreign children and children with migration experience;
  • execution and post-production of 5 photo sessions promoting intercultural workshops and the idea of ​​cultural diversity.
