We have been operating at full capacity since the first day of the war in Ukraine. We try to recognize the current needs and follow them according to our capabilities and competences (which we dynamically develop, strongly expanding our team). What we do:

1. We offer psychological support for children and adults 

  • free psychological assistance for children and adults,
  • 6 days a week, in the center of Warsaw or online,
  • we speak Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, English, French, Spanish,

4. Webinars, trainings, information meetings
 

  • Preparation for childbirth in Poland (birthing school). Details here
     
  • We provide specialised training for intercultural assistants, teachers, local government officials, psychologists, and support volunteers.

5. We especially support people from vulnerable groups, i.e. people with disabilities, unaccompanied minors, single mothers

6. We offer psychological support for volunteers helping refugees. 

We recommend that everyone and everyone involved in helping refugees at any scale read a short guide. To help others, you first need to take care of yourself!

7. We have launched a volatile team of psychologists operating in reception points and places of temporary accommodation for refugees from Ukraine

8. We are strengthening the coordination of volunteers. We have launched, among others, the project “Come for a word” – we pair migrants and Polish speakers for conversations in Polish 

9. actively publicise the problems and challenges of migration in Poland, cooperate with other organisations, conduct dialogue with decision-makers at all levels of government. 

10. we have launched the “PLICZ-O-PLICZ” (shoulder to shoulder) counselling and support centre in Warsaw at 85/87 Chmielna St.
