DEPARTURE FROM UKRAINE TO POLAND – 24.02.2022, at. We would like to inform you about the existing regulations as of February 24, 2022. We expect that the Polish authorities will change them and make it easier for Ukrainian citizens to find shelter in Poland. may be difficult and the following rules may not apply
– If you have a Polish visa – you can leave as part of the visa regime
– If you have a biometric passport, you can leave if:
a) you have a hotel, apartment or flat booked, health insurance, secured funds for your stay in Poland (credit card / cash)
b) invitation from a person legally residing in Poland: “I, XXX, who has an identity card / passport / residence card, invite YYY to Poland, who has a passport No. … I undertake to cover the costs of meals and accommodation. During the stay, the invited foreigner will stay at the address… .. ”. Remember to add the phone number of the inviting person.
c) if you do not have the above, you can apply to the commanding officer of the Border Guard post on the basis of a biometric passport only.
– If you do not have a biometric passport or any other document, you can apply for international protection at the border. This will involve arrival at the reception center, formal submission of the application – to our knowledge, it may not be possible to immediately come to family or friends.
