Many children struggle with the effects of traumatic experiences at school. They are related not only to the experience of war or exile, but often overlap with previous traumas, such as domestic violence, changes of the primary caregiver, illnesses, physical injuries or hospital stays. The training we are planning is aimed at improving the competences of intercultural assistants in noticing and understanding the possible effects of traumatic experiences in children.
The training will take place on December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the headquarters of the Community Center of the Polish Migration Forum at ul. Górczewska 137 in Warsaw. We provide refreshments, lunch and teaching materials.
*Participants will receive a certificate confirming participation in the training.
