THE POLISH MIGRATION FORUM INVITES parents, teachers and people working with children and adolescents TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FREE WEBINAR
The prolonged pandemic and isolation make children and adolescents face increasingly difficult emotions. They are accompanied by increasing stress, they have limited possibilities of regulating emotions, contact with peers, and the motivation to learn online decreases. Tension accumulates and somatic symptoms appear: headaches, abdominal pain, muscle pain, sleep disturbance or appetite.
It is important not to underestimate this state of affairs, but to seek support for your children and students.
During our conversation, we will tell you how to independently support children in coping with difficult emotions, and also – when it is worth using the support of a psychologist and / or psychiatrist. We will tell you how psychotherapy can help children, and how pharmacotherapy can help, and – above all – that seeking help is a healthy manifestation of coping with and caring for yourself and your loved ones.
After the meeting, it will also be possible to arrange individual consultations with a child psychiatrist.
The meeting will be conducted in Polish with the possibility of asking questions in Russian and English.
