Museum of Warsaw, Old Town Market Square 28/42
Join us for the Academy of Migrant Arts – a series of workshops on handicrafts from different parts of the world. The workshops will be led by people living in Poland with experience of migration. The Warsaw Museum is a partner of the Academy.
At the next workshops we meet with Tuğçe from Turkey. We will make Keçe Nazarlık together – felt decorations inspired by a traditional Turkish amulet (“prophet’s eye”) protecting against bad energy.
The workshop will be led by Tuğçe Mollaoğlu Çevikol from Istanbul. Tuğçe has been living in Poland for six years. She is a volunteer at the Polish Migration Forum. What she likes best in Poland is autumn!
The workshops will be conducted in Polish, and English, but everyone is welcome, and we will find a way to communicate!
Participation in the workshop is free, but spaces are limited. The workshops are intended for adults.
Advance registration is required:
