We invite you to participate in one of the series of study visits to schools that have been educating pupils from other countries for many years – foreigners constitute a dozen or so percent of the school population. The visits are intended for school heads, pedagogues, teachers responsible for the integration of students with migration experience, education specialists from leading bodies and other institutions supporting education in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
The study visit 12. 12. 2019 will concern preparatory departments for foreigners. The visit will take place at Primary School No. 152 Maria Dąbrowska in Warsaw.
- Program of the visit:
10: 00 – meeting with the school management and presentation of the school’s experience in the field of:
– learning Polish as a second language
– cooperation and maintaining contact with foreign parents
– integration of foreign and Polish students,
– involving foreign students in school life.
11:30 – meeting with the Vietnamese language cultural assistant. The assistant’s experience in supporting children’s education through work with parents and volunteer involvement.
12:30 – end of the meeting. After the visit, we invite participants to lunch.
- Aims of the study visit:
The purpose of the visit is to show participants the practice of working with foreign children, in particular:
– the functioning of foreign children in general classes,
– integration of foreign and Polish students,
– assessing and promoting students,
– additional support for students at school (intercultural assistant, volunteering).

Participation in the study visit is free.
We invite up to two representatives from one facility. Due to the guidelines from the donor, we invite only representatives of schools and institutions from the Masovian Voivodeship.
We can refund travel costs by public transport (2nd class) – after sending the original tickets.
We accept applications until December 2nd. We will confirm the qualification for a study visit.
Please let us know if after the enrollment the participant decides not to participate – there are other candidates for the free place.
