This event is part of the Academy of Migrant Arts – a series of craft workshops from around the world, led by people living in Poland who have migration experience.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own handmade stamp inspired by traditional Iranian decorative motifs such as floral designs, paisley (boteh), sun symbols, and miniature birds. It’s a simple yet creative way to connect with Persian culture while making a personal and tangible piece of art.
The workshop will be led by Elaheh S. Daneshvar – a visual artist and illustrator from Iran, creating art for over a decade. Her work explores the hidden emotions that quietly shape our inner world – delicately unraveling both the softness and the monsters within. Drawn to people and their shadows, she finds beauty in the ordinary moments of daily life. Inspired deeply by Persian literature and culture, Elaheh believes that art and storytelling are the strongest bridges we have – connecting hearts, revealing truths, and perhaps, saving us in the process.
The workshop will be conducted in English, with Polish translation available. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or artistic experience!
Participation is free, but space is limited.
