The Polish Migration Forum Foundation invites teachers to participate in an interactive, free e-workshop.

The school is a place for all children – also those who speak other languages, come from foreign cultures, return from migration, come to Poland for various reasons and with different baggage experiences. The school is also the best environment for supporting the integration of foreigners into Polish society. But how can a teacher and educator meet these challenges? The interactive on-line workshop will focus on the issue of supporting in the education process students who use more than one language and for whom Polish is a foreign language.

The challenges posed by multilingualism as well as its potential will be analyzed. Participants will be invited to discuss how to use this potential in the process of educating individual students as well as in working with the entire class. Methods of identifying children who may need special support and attention from the educator will also be discussed, and how to provide this support.

Teachers participating in the workshop will also get to know a proprietary tool supporting the learning of the Polish language in children with migration experience: “Diary – dictionary”.

Participants of the workshop will receive certificates confirming participation.

Limit of places: 15 people. The order of applications decides.
