A meeting for mothers whose children are exposed to peer violence.
A meeting dedicated to strengthening parents’ competences in identifying symptoms of peer violence, hate speech, discrimination, and the ability to respond to them in an effective way – protecting the child and building their self-esteem.
During the workshop we will learn the answers to the questions:
1) What is peer violence? Types of violence: physical, social, verbal and cyberbullying
2) What are the effects of experiencing peer violence (physiological, cognitive, emotional and interpersonal)?
3) How to support a child experiencing violence? 5 steps to deal with the manifestations of peer violence.

The workshop will be led by Marta Piegat-Kaczmarczyk – an experienced intercultural psychologist, who works on a daily basis in a therapeutic way with children experiencing discrimination, mainly on the basis of their origin.
Meeting language: Polish, Ukrainian and Russian – depending on the group’s preference
