Academy of Migrant Arts is a series of workshops on handicrafts from different parts of the world. The workshops are led by people living in Poland with experience of migration.

The Academy’s partner is the Museum of Warsaw.

As part of the final action of the project, we will make Polish handicrafts. We will learn how to make a spider – a traditional folk ornament, which is a symbol of fertility and prosperity for the coming year.

Participants will have the opportunity to make other Christmas decorations from different cultures. We will talk about New Year traditions in the countries of origin of our volunteers: India, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Turkey, Kenya, Tajikistan.

Admission is open and free.

After the workshop we invite you for some snacks and refreshments.
