We have over 2 million new guests, many of them will stay in Poland for a long time. Let’s get to know each other! The conversation is the simplest, most accessible and at the same time much needed form of support for migrants, especially if it takes the form of long-term, systematic conversations in Polish. This is the first step to integration, which is a process that requires commitment, but is valuable for both parties. Let’s build new relationships!
We invite you to participate in a conference on forms of support for foreigners in Poland, including those connecting seniors and people with refugee or migrant experience. We will focus especially on conversations from the Polish language, the involvement of seniors in activities for the benefit of migrants, challenges and opportunities related to the arrival of new Polish residents from Ukraine. We will show good practices of intergenerational activities. We will also talk about migrants and migrants from other parts of the world.
And all this, incl. based on our experience related to the implementation of the project “Poland for beginners and advanced”, in which senior volunteers had conversations in Polish with people with refugee or migrant experience.
