We kindly you invite to childbirth classes for migrants. The classes will have English interpretation.
– the classes are free of charge;
– they are led by a midwife (employed in one of hospitals of Warsaw) and an intercultural psychologist;
– we invite women after 3 months of pregnancy.
At birthing classes you’ll learn what to expect in a Polish hospital when you’re in labor, what your and your family rights are, as well as:
- how to prepare for labor, choosing a hospital;
- how to pack for the hospital, preparing what is necessary for a newborn;
- the stages of labor;
- breastfeeding;
- after returning home – vaccinations, first walk, first bath;
- how to support woman after coming back home with a newborn?
Moreover, the PFM Foundation may help you with legalization of stay procedures for the newborn.
Dates: 04. 04. 2020 (Saturday) AND 05. 04. 2020 (Sunday) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (14 hours in total)
