We invite you to a birthing school for migrant women, with translation into Russian and Ukrainian.
- classes are free of charge;
- the birthing school is run by a midwife working in one of Warsaw hospitals and by an intercultural psychologist;
- the classes will be translated into russian;
- We invite mothers who have completed their 3rd month of pregnancy.
During the birth school you will learn what the care of a pregnant woman looks like in a Polish hospital, and what your and your family’s rights are. The scope of the birth school includes
- preparing for labour, choosing a hospital;
- packing a bag for the hospital, preparing a layette for the baby;
- stages and course of labour;
- breastfeeding;
- after returning home – the vaccination schedule, the first walk, the first bath
- How to support a woman during confinement?
Moreover, we provide information on the legalisation of the child’s stay in Poland. We also provide psychological support.
