The whole world in our class – workshops for children and teenagers

We are training school staff and psychologists to work with children with migration experience.

Project objectives

Strengthening in children the attitude of respect for cultural and linguistic differences and openness to contact with refugee and migrant children from different countries. Emotional support for young people in connection with the war in Ukraine and the arrival of new classmates at school,
sensitization of students to the situation of forced migrants (refugees), especially from Ukraine,
strengthening in children the attitude of respect for cultural and linguistic differences and openness to contact with refugee and immigrant children from different countries, developing the ability to consciously analyze information and misinformation about refugees and migration phenomena,
To make students aware that their own lives are made more interesting by intercultural encounters.

Activities

Talks, group work, individual work, movement games, analysis of press materials, work with applications (Kahoot, Mentimeter).
