In addition, it involves advocacy efforts to improve the quality of and access to psychological assistance in guarded detention centers.

Objectives

Provide psychological support to migrants in detention centers. Advocacy efforts to improve access to mental health services for people in detention centers and to effectively identify vulnerable groups prior to detention. Advocacy for improved conditions of detention as a fundamental environmental aspect to support the effectiveness of mental health interventions.

Activities

Provision of psychological support services for migrant in detention and creation of a report documenting good practices in providing psychological support to vulnerable groups in detention.

  • creation and publication of a report on the challenges of providing psychological assistance
  • advocacy efforts to disseminate knowledge to improve the
    mental health of migrants in detention
