This brochure is intended for mothers who came to Poland from other countries and are now expecting the birth of their child.
We want to make this time more comfortable for you, make you feel more confident and know what to expect from the Polish health care system. In this brochure, we present basic information about pregnancy and childbirth, child development and the mother’s well-being during pregnancy – but we also provide information on how the system of care for pregnant women and infants is organized in Poland.
We write about the regulations regarding the rights of pregnant women and during the postpartum period, as well as child examinations and vaccinations. We also write that being in a foreign country, a mother expecting a child may experience additional emotions. We tell you how to deal with them.
