Support cooperation between public institutions and NGOs and strengthens the capacity of Polish institutions in the context of working with people from vulnerable groups.

Objectives

The project seeks to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation, strengthen the capacity of Polish institutions (including the Office for Foreigners and the Border Guard) in the context of working with people from vulnerable groups, strengthen existing legal solutions and make a real improvement in the situation of people belonging to vulnerable groups in Poland.

Activities

Support for the construction of a system for dealing with and working with persons belonging to vulnerable groups, within the framework of which model solutions will be developed in public institutions and social organizations. Training for public institutions (including the Border Guard and the Office for Foreigners) and social institutions that will support the staff of these institutions in improving their work with persons belonging to vulnerable groups. Direct support for persons belonging to vulnerable groups who are simultaneously applying for refugee status in Poland or are in return proceedings. To these persons, we provide legal counseling, psychological counseling, as well as counseling tailored to the individual situation.

Results

Access to professional support for those experienced by the war in Ukraine, effective adaptation to life in Poland, easier access to benefits, leveling the effects of psychological trauma, increasing the number of refugees with access to information.
