Join us for another cooking workshop as part of the Plates&Mates program! We will cook together, eat together, have a great time. We want you to have a chance to get to know each other.
This time we are going to the Basque Country to prepare wonderful Pinxtos!
The workshop is aimed at children and young people from Poland and any other country in the world – cooking together is the best way to get to know your neighbor.
If you are from Ochota or surrounding areas, sign up for the workshop. If you live in another neighborhood – write to us too! This is just the first meeting, and we are planning other meetings in different parts of Warsaw.

Plates&Mates is a project whose main goal is to build relationships – we want to create a space where migrant and Polish children and teenagers can meet and develop new passions together.
We organise multicultural cooking workshops – we will cook, play and spend time together. The theme of the workshops is related to holidays and important moments in the culture of different countries, we want to build and consolidate respect and openness to diversity.
We will speak in different languages – we will be assisted by volunteers from all over the world. Verbal communication is only one level of understanding, and engaging in joint action can be an opportunity to develop a language on our own terms.
We act locally – we want to work with community centres in different neighbourhoods and build links between Polish and migrant children from the same neighbourhood, who can meet at school or in the yard.
