PREPARATION FOR BIRTH IN POLAND – WORKSHOPS FOR FUTURE PARENTS We invite migrant women who are 3 months pregnant to attend the childbirth school. This time the classes are for couples, so you can come together with your partner. The classes are free and will be held in Russian.
The birthing school is run by a midwife working in one of Warsaw’s hospitals and by a cross-cultural psychologist.
During the childbirth class, you will learn how to care for a woman in labor in a Polish hospital, and you will learn about your rights and your family’s.
In addition, during the classes we deal with:
– preparations for childbirth, choice of hospital;
– packing a hospital bag, preparing a layette for the baby;
– stages and course of childbirth;
– breastfeeding;
– after returning home – the vaccination calendar, the first walk, the first bath
– supporting women in childbirth
In addition, we provide information on the legalization of the child’s stay in Poland. We also provide psychological support.
