– What are traumatic experiences?
– Different reactions to severe stress and the impact of trauma on children’s functioning;
– Natural adaptability in children and the role and involvement of the parent/guardian;
– How to support a child in emotional regulation processes.
The webinar on the Clickmeeting platform will be led by Marta Piegat-Kaczmarczyk, a cross-cultural psychologist and psychologist working with children at PFM.
Duration: 1.5h of lecture and group work and 0.5h for discussion and summary of the meeting.
Marta Piegat-Kaczmarczyk – intercultural psychologist, trainer, TSR therapist, member of the board of the Polish Migration Forum Foundation. Since 2000, he has been working with families from around the world. She runs intercultural support groups for mothers, workshops for parents, works with children after difficult experiences of trauma, violence and discrimination. It trains teachers, psychologists, educators, doctors, midwives and other professional groups. She completed a number of specialized courses on working with childhood trauma, depression and anxiety, cognitive-behavioral therapy of children and adolescents, therapy of autoregulation disorders in children. A graduate of the training in Solution Focused Therapy of the first and second degree.
The workshops are organized as part of the project “The whole world in our classroom”.
