Integration of forced migrants in Poland

Projekt: Integration of Refugees in Poland - in numbers

Description:

The project Integration of Refugees in Poland - in numbers aimed at gathering statistical data on the process of refugee integration in Poland through analysis of data available within various institutions and organizations involved in providing refugees with integration assistance. The concept of gathering this information was the initiative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Representation in Poland. Polish Migration Forum conducted the research at UNHCR request.

Objectives:
The purpose of the projet was to gather available data from various sources in order to illustrate, to what extent the integration efforts undertaken in Poland bring results in practice and in what areas support is not sufficient.

Results:

The result of this project is a manual - an overview of available data relating to integration of refugees in Poland.

The printed copies of the book, in Polish, are available at the Warsaw office of UNHCR (e-mail: polwa@unhcr.org). English edition of the book is planned in the first semester of 2008.
