Projekt: I am a Mom in Poland II

Description:

A project for migrants moms, who are expecting in Poland. We also provide support groups and individual psychological consultations for asylum seekers/migrant women and their children.

Objectives:

The aim of the project is to help women prepare for labour and care of a new born baby in Poland. We work with young migrant and asylum seekers mothers with children and provide psychological help and support.

Actions:

  • few editions of Multicultural Schools of Birth, involving a hospital visit
  • support groups, meetings with specialists (dietician,speech terapist, pediatrician etc.) and psychological consultations.

Results:

Multicultural Schools of Birth will be available for at least 30 women (Ukrainian, Vietnamese and of other nationalities).

Publication "We are parents in Poland" for foreign parents living in Poland

  • a brochure on labour and delivery in Poland. The brochure includes chapters on care of a new born.
