Education of migrants in Poland

Projekt: Access to education for refugee and asylum seeking children

Description:

Polish Migration Forum engages in lobbying to promote findings of the report on access to education of children seeking asylum and granted protection in Poland. The report was done by the President of PFM, at the request of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Objectives:

The main aim of the research was to overview gaps and obstacles that prevent access of the described group of children to the Polish education system.

The aim of PFM involvement in the follow up actions to the report is to help translate the findings into changes in the existing practices. PFM discusses the findings at numerous events, conferences and workshops involving public officials, NGOs, media and educators.
